Game Releases 2018

The gaming industry maintains a captive audience due to regular and exciting new game releases. Some of the top 2018 releases include; Valkyria Chronicles 4, Life is Strange 2 and FIFA 2019. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a saga set in Europa during the Second Europan War which features tactical strategies and a longed-for multi-function debut. Its storyline revolves around a fledgeling commander, Claude, and his wartime squad friends. The squad slowly matures to become battle-hardened heroes during the campaign. The game’s action can be viewed through its trademark system, BLiTZ. The game currently has an 85/100 rating for both PS4 and PC on Metacritic.

Life is Strange 2

Life is Strange 2 is expected to feature multifaceted characters and supernatural elements coupled with daily struggles and the difficult life decisions that bear long-term consequences. The narrative puts players in the shoes of a 16-year-old, Sean Diaz, who is expected to flee Seattle with his younger brother Daniel after a fistfight spirals into a calamity. The Awesome Adventure of Captain Spirit has been dubbed the Life is Strange 2 appetizer and players are encouraged to play it beforehand. Life is Strange 2 is a five-episode, decision intensive game that can be played on platforms like PC, Xbox One and PS4.

FIFA 19

FIFA 19 is expected to introduce a new major feature, the UEFA Champions League, after Pro Evolution Soccer lost its usage rights. It further features the Super Cup competitions, Europa League and a notable career mode that signifies Alex Hunter’s grand finale. Alex Hunter has been the FIFA game star since FIFA 17. With features like the active touch system that allows players to fake trap balls and a timed finishing mechanic that allows double tapping of the kick button in a bid to fine-tune timing, players will enjoy more direct control of the game. It can be played on platforms including Xbox One, PS4, Switch, PS3 and Xbox360.
